Session 2 - There's SO MUCH to do!

7/1/2015

So much fun, so little time! Our first ever 4 day session has turned out to be a wild one.

Within the last 2 days we have seen our Homestead groups like H1 and H6 learn about the chickens and our gardens. H2 went to the craft shop and created targets on Monday, then shot at them in the archery range on Tuesday! Our banana boat has seen it's fair share of use with H3 and H9. H3 also went sailing, the water was a little rough but they still seemed to get through it with all kinds of enthusiasm. H4 cut out an outline of their hands for a CE lesson, and H8 utilized the beach to make sand candles! As far as our adventure courses go, H11 and H4 explored the low ropes course while H6 conquered Walt's Wall. The craft shop has seen H10 recently to make tiles, and H12 stopped by to make some suncatchers.

Going back down towards the waterfront, H1 were sinking their canoes while pretending to be pirates and H11 were kayaking nearby. H8 attended our waterfront bonfire after Free Time, and I heard that H7 threw a dance party (I'm a little upset I wasn't invited). H5 got to know each other a little better with some fun games on the ball field, and then went to go make cards with Aunt Doreen. H12 attended our world famous Monk Swim at the pool and H7 wanted to see if they could drop an egg from our EC tower without letting it break! Lastly, H10 cooked their own lunch Tuesday and H9 made their own desert, something called a "Smore-ito" which was described as a smore filled burrito.

More to come tomorrow on what our Pioneer has been up to!
