Halfway through, Ready for week 2

Recap of Session 3, Week 1
We were very sad to see our homesteaders leave us this morning (Shout-Out to my cabin H11!), but still looking forward to tomorrows central event, all next week with our Pioneer/Pathfinders and the new Taste of Campers. 

Fun fact about me: I LOVE LISTS. What my project was for this week was to write down one really fun thing that each cabin did for each day. Below is a list of these activities from Tuesday through Friday, please let me know what you think in the comment section! (Also for all you Homestead parents, ask your camper about what they did because they can tell you more than I can!)

DC1 - Nature walking, Tile painting in the craft shop, Waterfront exploring, and Tie Dying t-shirts

DC2 - Tile painting in the craft shop, Banana boating in the bay, Nature walking, a fantastic Lunch Cookout in Pioneer

DC3 - Highway of Hope (Christian Education activity), Beach obstacle course, Deep sea diving in Rehoboth Bay, Knot tying lessons

H1 - Dropping eggs off a tower without breaking them, Learning how to pray in color, Making ice cream from scratch, Banana boating in the bay

H2 - Silent swimming in the pool AKA "Monk Swim", Weird science lessons, Rock wall climbing, Nature walking

H3 - Finding your spirit animal, Beach obstacle course, Dropping eggs off a tower without breaking them, Silent swimming in the pool AKA "Monk Swim"

H4 - Recurve archery, Story telling lessons, Human battleships (your camper could tell you more about this), Canoeing in the bay

H5 - Volcano building, Human battleships, Friendship bracelets, Overnight camping in the Camp Arrowhead outpost

H6 - Learning about the chickens, Banana boating in the bay, Puppy playtime with Ellie, Canoeing in the bay

H7 - Arrowhead Hunting at the beach, Rock wall climbing, Silent swimming in the pool AKA "Monk Swim", Sailing in the bay

H8 - Overnight camping in the Camp Arrowhead outpost, Yoga in the Pioneer, Camp History walk-about, Seining for bay creatures

H9 - Seining for bay creatures, Weird science lessons, Banana boating in the bay, Yoga class

H10 - Tubing behind our speed boat, Nightime hayride, Banana boating in the bay, Conquering our fears at the high ropes swing

H11 - Paddle boarding in the bay, Overnight camping in the Camp Arrowhead outpost, Nature walking, Canoeing in the bay

P2 - Jumping off the plank, Clay pottery creations, Survival tactics for when they become lost, Bird feeders for feeding birds

P3 - Fire building lessons / competitions, Banana boating in the bay, Feeding our camp turtles, Lashing together a shower (Or what will be a shower when they are finished with it) 

P4 - Compound archery, Kayaking by the bay, Making pickles and tea,  Fire building lessons / competitions 

P5 - Camp crafting (that's something you're going to have to ask about), Walking through our high ropes bridge course, Sailing on the bay, Knot tying lessons 

P6 - Person of hope symbol (Christian Education activity), Learning how to use the clay pottery wheel, Walking through our high ropes bridge course, Making kale chips in the Environmental Center

P7 - Knot tying lessons, Chapel skit planning (it was one "hot" skit), Walking through our high ropes bridge course, Compound archery 

SPF - SAILING... Astronomy lessons, Learning how to use the clay pottery wheel, Lashing projects, Paddle boarding in the bay
