Let's Visit The Pathfinder Sites

Picture
This is where Pathfinder & sometimes Pioneer campers live while at Arrowhead. We have 7 Pioneer sites, named P1 - P7. And we have 2 Pathfinder sites named after our 2 most regular kinds of pathfinders - Adventure (APF) & Sailing (SPF).  However, in an effort to accommodate more campers, there are sessions of camp when we call one of these sites P8 to add another Pioneer Unit. It's less confusing than it sounds here.

Pathfinders are even more independent and responsible. These are our oldest campers and many go on to join our staff.

These units are co-ed and each site has only 3 shelters. The 2 camper shelters sleep up to 8 guys or girls. We try to keep these units between 12 and 14 campers. The third shelter is split in half by a wall to house the 2 Counselors.
Everything is still within earshot.
These shelters have lights in them, privacy walls, and lots of windows to let in  light and airflow.  These sites have porta-potties placed adjacent to them for the summer and use the Pioneer CATS for showering.
