CAMPING PROGRAMS

Camp Arrowhead is open to all children, regardless of religion, race or origin, who wish to have a fun filled experience in the loving environment of God's beauty.

 
HOMESTEAD

The Homestead unit is for children entering grades 3 to 6. Their cabin unit be-comes their “home away from home” as they spend the day doing their planned activities. Teamwork and cooperation are stressed in all activities.

PIONEER

The Pioneer unit is for campers entering grades 7 to 9. Your child will be assigned to one of 7 self-contained campsites, sleeping in raised platform tents or new-screened wooden structures. Having more independence, this unit cooks at least one meal per day. The rustic setting of Pioneer allows groups to form tight bonds as they lash a table, plan a progressive dinner or go for a sail.

PATHFINDER

The Pathfinder program is co-ed serving those entering grades 10 and 11. This program is counseled by senior staff that is skilled in working with teen-aged campers. The object is to guide them to see the best in each other through developing a sense of what they have to offer the world around them. Pathfinder campers will perform community service while at camp. (Documentation of hours can be made available.) The following Pathfinder programs are offered:

Sailing Camp (SESSION 2, 3 & 4)
Begin with Sunfish and work up to Hobie Cats. Learn how to rig and skipper your own boat! Take a day trip to swim in the ocean and spend exciting time on the new high ropes course, the IC course and the climbing wall. Regular camp activities will round out your days at camp. Good swimming skills are a must!

 
Beach Camp (SESSION 2, 3 & 4)

Experience boating at camp then spend time learning to skim board, surf and ocean kayak in the Atlantic. In addition to your beach days spend exciting time on the new high ropes course, IC course and the climbing wall. Your session also includes regular camp activities. Good swimming

skills are a must!

ARROWHEAD DAY CAMP

This program is offered to children entering grades 3 to 6 who wish to experience camp’s wonderful activities, but who are not quite ready to sleep over. Campers will be assigned to co-ed groups. Drop off your camper at 7:45 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m. for a full day of Christian camping and three good meals. Please note that there are both 4 and 5 day sessions which coordinate with our residential camp schedule.
